The Wolfpack return to the scene of the crime in The Hangover: Part III, in cinemas 23rd May, so to honour their Vegas comeback, we scanned our hazy memories and desperately tried to recall our 25 favourite bits of Hangover trilogy trivia...

Even the biggest fans of 2001 street-racing thriller The Fast And The Furious wouldn't have dreamed that the franchise would still be going strong over a decade later. Review: Star Trek Into Darkness

8 May 2013, 11:54am

JJ Abrams pulled off one of the all-time greatest salvage missions with his Star Trek reboot, managing to please both existing fans of the franchise – who are notoriously protective and hard to please – as well as newcomers just looking for a quick sci-fi fix. In providing an alternative timeline plotline, it allowed him to pay homage to Treks of the past (Leonard Nimoy bringing no small amount of class to his cameo) while simultaneously plotting a course for new thrills; stories that didn't have to be bogged down with the weight of four decades of enterprising adventures.

Hello again, film fans. It'd be easier to report on what hasn't happen in the world of movies over the last week, but... actually... no, that'd be a logistical nightmare. The Inbetweeners go down... under

1 May 2013, 10:29am

The Sun - the tabloid that everyone trusts - are reporting that all four Inbetweeners cast members have signed up for a sequel that will take Simon, Will, Neil and Jay backpacking in Australia. Expect lots of jokes like "How about a blow on my didgeridoo?" or "I'll introduce potentially harmful foreign flora and fauna to her wild environment" and so on. This thing writes itself!

In retrospect, Sylvester Stallone's Oscar-winning underdog tale Rocky is the perfect template for a musical. It has heart, it has soul, it has characters who rise above the odds to become more than they ever thought they could be, and most importantly, it has oh so many uplifting moments where Stallone breaks into song. Okay, maybe not that last part.

Welcome to another extremely irregular movie news round-up! It's been a busy seven days in the world of movies, so without further ado, let's roll up our sleeves and plunge into this week's news, right up to the elbow.

Review: Iron Man 3

23 April 2013, 11:55am

How does one follow the box office behemoth that was The Avengers? You can almost picture the scene: a room full of Marvel executives celebrating their billion dollar success, popping champagne corks and letting off party streamers, until the slow, dawning realisation creeps in to their collective consciousness and their smiles begin to slide… 'How are we supposed to top this?' It's little wonder Tony Stark can't sleep.
