This week's big new release Oblivion sees Tom Cruise play the last man on Earth, left on clean-up duty while the rest of humanity awaits on a nearby moon. It's a rollocking good sci-fi, but Cruise hasn't always been so magnetic on screen - in fact, some of his movies are so bad, we wouldn't watch them ifwe were the last man on Earth. Here are the movies Tom wishes he could banish to the deepest, darkest recesses of space...

Shock horror! Ryan Gosling is retiring from acting! And the world wept in unison! Thankfully, after we mopped up our tears and watched The Notebook a few dozen more times, we noted that Gosling's retirement would only consist of a few years off, and realised he'd return to Hollywood once he'd had a break from acting. Because we know you like all things Emma Watson, here's a fresh batch of stills from her exciting new movie, The Bling Ring. Directed by Sofia Coppola (Lost In Translation), it stars Emma as one of a number of teens who get their kicks through robbing the homes of celebrities and stealing their jewellery.
