We’ve gone all modern and started a trending topic on Twitter.com – movies boiled down to their core elements in 140 characters or less.

Spending hours of your day on Twitter isn’t exactly the most productive way to work, but we’ve started something special and we wanted our readers to get in on the action. For the uninitiated, a ‘trending topic’ is any collection of posts on Twitter.com that share a common phrase. So, when we had the idea of writing mini movie reviews in 140 characters or less, we thought we’d tag them under #twittermovies in the hope that it might catch on. For example:

Boy born with claws grows up to host Oscars. Also, grows sideburns, gets metal skeleton, shouts at the sky a lot.

And boy has it caught on. Frankly, we’re losing count of the amount of replies we’ve had so far – the topic is growing at an alarming speed. Follow it here and help make it huge - we want Ashton Kutcher jumping on this bandwagon! – and add your own 140 character movie reviews in the comments below: we’ve published a few of the better entries below as a handy how-to guide.
