Heidi says she made the 'babes
Heidi Range has claimed that she helped propel the Sugababes to fame.
The former Atomic Kitten replaced Siobhan Donaghy in 1998. She told the BBC: "I don't want to sound like I'm being bigheaded but the Sugababes had one album which didn't sell and they were dropped.
"I joined eight years ago and we were signed together by Island Records. I've been there since our first number one, Freak Like Me, and been part of the history of the band ever since."
Range is now the longest serving member of the band after Keisha Buchanan was ousted last month and replaced by former Eurovision hopeful Jade Ewen.

They are no longer the Sugarbabes without Keisha - they are using someone else's back catalogue. If Heidi made the band - change the name and provie it

i cant believe she's being this big headed. maybe the sugababes wouldnt be famous without her, but she's not amazing enough to go solo and maybe she should think - where would SHE be without the sugababes?
Basically, its not sugababes anymore and they invited ex EUROVISIon singer jade to replace keisha
i read an interview with jade, amelle and heidi in my sister's reveal and they say they are the best sugababes yet. they dont deserve the name and jade was a bad replacement. there was rumours that keisha left due to bullying, but they didnt reply and didnt deny the bullying.
amelle and heidi are clinging on to the name cos its not clear what would happen to them if the sugababes ended (altho they practically have)Are the Sugababes better with Heidi?No -
