Your memories of the King of pop

Music legend Michael Jackson has died in Los Angeles, aged 50. What are your memories of the King of pop?

Michael Jackson burst onto the music scene at the age of five, performing with his brothers as the Jackson Five. He went on to become a worldwide superstar and became known as the King of pop.

Although dogged with ill health and controversy surrounding his private life in recent years, he was due to perform a residency of 50 dates in London from July 13th.

What are your memories of the King of pop? Did you ever see him live? Did you have tickets for his O2 shows? What will be his musical legacy? Leave your tributes below

Michael gave and gave and gave so much throughout his life, and I'm sickened that the people around him at the time of his tragic death couldnt or refused to see that he was waisting away, that he was yet again being forced like a puppet to perform for all the greedy people around him that were incapable of making big money without him. Having memorabillia around the house, my heart still breaks a little every day,but the truth about his death hurts the most. What a waste of one of the most precious, gentle, talented and caring people ever to walk this earth. God Bless you Michael, rest, and be at peace....FINALLY!
